It took me a lot of ordering and re-ordering and then re-ordering to finally get hold of a “Large” in this, (I’m normally a Medium) it kept being sold out, low stock, order not filled, etc….BUT THEN…..It came! I got a Large. It’s hard to put into words how much I love this coat even though it’s way too big on me, I love it so much. It’s impeccably handsome, and so exquisitely made. Double faced wool is very unusual to see in menswear these days: This is an absolutely gorgeous coat. It feels very English. Also: SUPER CLEVER DESIGN. It’s like they took a peacoat and lengthened it. Genius. It’s snow with negative temps level warm. It’s a Dream Coat.

Coat is super soft and very roomy making it a great option when you top coat to be worn over business attire. The double breasted pea coat look sets it apart from the normal plane black top coat that is so popular in the colder months. The sleeves are .5-1.5 longer than other Brooks Brothers garments I own in the same size this allows warming hands in the front pockets without exposing much of your lower arm which is good for staying warm when you forget to bring gloves. This is now my go to winter coat if I am wearing a suit.
